Recruitment of Staff Nurse for a period of 3 (Three) Month on Contract Basis
Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the posts of Nursing Officer on contract basis for a period of Three (03) months in the prescribed format and on the other
terms & conditions, as available on the
website-- www.vmmc-sjh.nic.in as per details mentioned below.
The date of registration would
open on 10.06.2018 (Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM at
OPD COUNTER VMMC & Safdarjang Hospital. The schedule of interview would be from 25.06.2018, 09:30
AM onwards which
can be extended depending
upon the number of candidates.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
The number of vacancies
is subject
to change. Reservation will be as per Government
of India policy.
1. Application Process:
Applications are invited from
Indian Nationals in the prescribed
format for the posts of Staff Nurse in VMMC & Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi on contract basis
for
a period of
03 (Three) months only.
2. Application Fees: Application
fees
for
General/OBC candidates is Rs.
500/-, fees
for SC/ST candidates is Rs. 300/-, Persons with disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee subject
to submission of necessary certificate from a competent authority in support of their claim of disability. Fees
shall
be paid through Demand
Draft only in favour of Medical
Superintendent, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi,
at the time of registration. No other
mode will be accepted The Application fees will be non refundable.

Eligibility
Criteria: - The applicants applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves
regarding their eligibility for the aforesaid post and must fulfil all the eligibility
criteria on or before 10.06.2018 failing which their application will be summarily rejected.
4. Age:
The age limit for the post of Nursing Officer as on 01.01.2018 will be as under:
A candidate for
contractual appointment for the
post of Nursing Officer (Staff Nurse) must have attained the minimum age of 21 years
and must
not have attained the age of more than
35 years on the
first day of January of the year in which advertisement is published
i.e. 01.01.2018. The candidate should not be born before 2"d January, 1983 and
not born after 1st January, 1997.
Relaxation in upper age limit:-
(i) Upper age limit shall be relaxable
upto maximum limit 5 years only for SC/ST candidates,
3 years for OBC and
10 years for the Physically Handicapped Persons.
(ii) Candidates applying under any
of the reserved category
viz. SC/ST/OBC will be considered
subject to submission of Caste certificate on a prescribed
format issued by the competent authority. OBC
candidates
should not belong to Creamy Layer. Their Sub-caste should be tallied with the Central List of OBC, failing which
their candidature
will
not be considered under any of the applied reserved category and will be treated
as UR.
5. Date & Time of registration: - 10.06.2018 (Sunday) 10.00 A.M. to 01.00 noon. No application will be received after the above
mentioned date and
time. Application will be received
only from the
candidate herself/himself. One candidate can submit only one application.
6. Place of Registration: OPD Counter, New OPD Complex, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.
7. Documents to be submitted at the time of Registration: - All the original certificate/documents will be verified at the time of interview. All the candidates must
submit
the photocopy of following of self attested documents.
i. Registration slip & Bio-data
(Filled by
the
candidates) as per the format
given
in this notice.
ii. Mark sheet & Certificate of High School or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
iii. Mark sheet & Certificate of Intermediate
or
its equivalent from
a
recognized
University/Board.
iv.
Mark sheet & Certificate of Nursing Degree/ General Nursing and Midwifery from recognized institution.
v. Registration Certificate issued form any State Nursing Council.
vi. Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC category issued by the competent authority. vii. Experience certificate.

8. Interview Dates: - The tentative date of commencement of interview will be 25.06.2018, onwards
which can be extended
depending upon the
number of candidates. Detail schedule
will be uploaded on hospital website.
9. Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on the
Merit of qualification and marks obtained
in Interview. If two or more
candidates secure equal marks, the candidate older in age shall be placed above.
10.
PHYSICAL FITNESS: The offer of appointment to the said
post will be subject to physical fitness from the
competent medical board for which
he/she will be sent to the designated Medical
Authority
by the concerned Institution before joining the post.
11. The appointment can be terminated by giving a notice of one month from either side. The appointee
will not be granted any claim or right for regular appointment.
12. Only those candidates shall be considered for interviews that are registered on 10.06.18 (10.00 am to
01.00 PM). The candidate, who does not fulfil the requisite eligibility, even if he/she would register, will not be allowed to appear the interview.

14. Medical Superintendent Safdarjung Hospital reserves the rights to change
the date, time,
selection procedure etc.
15. In case, any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate
has wilfully suppressed any material information his/her candidature will be deemed cancelled.
16.
No Travelling allowance/
DA will be paid for appearing for Registration and Interview.
17.
In case of any dispute, decision of Medical Superintendent will be final.
18. Safdarjang Hospital shall not be responsible for any
loss/ injury caused to the candidates in course of appearing in the registration and interview.
19. All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts.
